State Parks

State parks offer so many benefits when used as your wedding venue.

First off - They are affordable.

Let's be real - it is NOT cheap to host a wedding in this day and age. When you know you're going to be paying for vendors and food, if you could avoid the cost of venue, especially if you're wanting a beautiful tropic, forest, beach, or garden location, why wouldn't you?

What if I told you most state parks have a low fee for their daily event use? It's true. Some of these state parks even have covered pavilions, bathrooms, catering kitchens or even a historic home. When you save thousands (if not tens of thousands) hosting your wedding at a State Park, you now have more room in your wedding budget for your vendors, rentals, florals, ect. To give some context, you can rent ground space under a historic tree in front of the stunning home at Eden Gardens state park for 100-250 dollars depending on your guest site, and have a covered pavilion next door to the ceremony space for your reception for 250 more.

Secondly - They are beautiful.

You may pay thousands for a beach wedding and still have beachgoers nearby and not in a remote setting. The event spacing at State Parks may not be 100% exclusive, but usually the event location is removed from where most people go walking and it is rare to have strangers near your ceremony. You now have a pretty exclusive piece of property at a fraction of the price of your typical site. I can not believe where some of these state parks are. If you want a mountain wedding with a view, you can get that. If you want a beach wedding, you can do that too. Waterfall? Lake? Volcano? You can do that too.

I love seeing brides get their complete vision for their wedding and State Parks allow your budget to stretch farther than you could have imagined. If you're a bride in the modern age wondering how people are throwing weddings and it seems entirely unfeasible for you but you know you want to do it - BOOK A STATE PARK.
